The nose is refined and offers balance between tertiary, spicy, herbaceous and fruity notes. It expresses aromas of nutmeg, liquorice, cardamom, dried vanilla, dried peppermint, tobacco, thyme, bay leaf, as well as cocoa, cocoa nibs, dried rose and undergrowth in the background. Beautiful fruity material with a certain freshness in the notes of fresh morello cherry, fresh bigarreau cherry, dried red cherry, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry. The palate is juicy, fresh and refined. It expresses the flavors of fresh bigarreau cherry, dried red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry, strawberry, complemented by a tangy frame of cranberries and a good bitterness of bird cherry. We also find herbaceous notes (thyme, bay leaf, tobacco) and tertiary (undergrowth) more present in the mouth, associated with a pleasant tangy side of bigarreau cherry and cocoa nibs on the persistence. The tannins are very fine and melted, good refined and elegant persistence.
