Le Caillou de Talbot 2021 – Bordeaux

Le Caillou de Talbot 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is beautifully elegant, delicate, precise, fresh and offers a certain intensity. There are notes of crisp vine peach, fresh quince and more lightly fresh/pulpy yellow berries combined with fine hints of fresh pear, a discreet hint of white lily, lychee, an imperceptible hint of exotic fruit and salinity (in the background). The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, minerality, an acidic backbone, delicacy, energy, a nice finesse/impact of the beating, meticulousness, a little melodious, almost airy approach, a fine intensity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, lemon and, more slightly, pulpy nectarine, combined with touches of mesocarp, quenette, lychee, subtle hints of salinity (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of sweetness from the oak (in the background, currently underlining and slightly coating).
