Le Blanc de Château de La Rivière 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fresh, racy, precise, nicely marked by its terroir and offers energy, a discreet angular character. There are notes of pulpy lychee, crushed green apple and, more slightly, pulpy/creamy peach, combined with fine touches of lemon blossom, as well as discreet hints of passion fruit and a subtle saline touch. The palate is fruity, marked by its terroir and reveals juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain elegance, precision, sincerity, a certain purity, energy and sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, fresh/crunchy lychee and more lightly of zest combined with hints of lemon as well as fine zest, tangerine and a discreet hint of fresh peach/mango. Good length.
