La Sabbiona “Mammutus” 2021- Romagna DOC Sangiovese Oriolo

The nose is spicy, fruity, aromatic and offers deepness in precision/ control, a precise and elegant grain. There are notes of dense wild blackberry, graphite, sense of place (local biotop) and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of oregano, wild small cherries as well as slight hints of bergamot/ infusion, discreet hints of penja pepper, black olive and toast-fresh. The mouth is beautifuly fresh, mineral, precise and offers precision, tension, a good definition, a certain tension, gourmandise, a beautiful freshness in red thread, a certain chewiness, richness in precision, straigtness, deepness as well as complexity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/ juicy cassis and small notes of roasted-juicy small red fruits associated with touches of sense of place (local biotop), grove, cardamom and balsamic, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of oregano, racy minerality and taost. A subtle hint of toasted almond on the finish. Beautiful small chewiness and beautiful sapidity on the finish/ persistence. Beautiful persistence.
