La Querciolana Bianco du Boldrino 2023 – Umbria IGT Bianco

La Querciolana Bianco du Boldrino 2023 – Umbria IGT Bianco

(Viognier and Manzoni – a cross of Pinot Grigio and Rislieng, made by Italian scientist Manzoni) The wine has a lemon color of medium intensity. It expresses notes of lemon zest, candied lemon peel, grapefruit, green apple, a touch of pineapple, apricot and white peach. We also find notes of rosemary, a salty mineral touch, as well as chamomile and lime blossom. In the mouth, the texture is round, even oily, with a gourmand touch of honey on the finish. It also expresses the freshnessof lemon and grapefruit, complemented by a delicious hint of candied lemon and a touch of dried lemon. We also find a good bitterness of honey, chestnut and bitter almond, a mineral touch of wax, mint and rosemary on the persistence. Nice acidity and lots of freshness which balances the oiliness.
