Jean-Claude Boisset Monthélie 2022 – Monthélie

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses pronounced oaky notes (toasted wood, a touch of fresh wood, vanilla, toasted hazelnut, coconut in the background), as well as the aroma of linden honey. After aeration, we find the aromas of lemon jam, yellow peach, fresh apricot, crushed lemon, as well as yellow plum, acacia, fresh linden and yogurt. The palate also expresses woody notes on attack, but less pronounced than on the nose. We find notes of fresh wood, toasted wood, fresh hazelnut. Then, the wine expresses flavors of tart apricot, yellow peach, green apple, green plum, vanilla and coconut in the background, as well as apple blossom and acacia. The finish expresses a good bitterness of grapefruit and chestnut honey. Good persistence on gourmandise, salivating acidity and good bitterness.
