The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is gourmand, juicy and fruity, with a beautiful concentration and a slight sweetness in the aromas. We find notes of ripe wild strawberry, raspberry jam, blackberry, crushed blueberry and morello cherry. The second nose offers a lot of freshness in its notes of aromatic herbs and flowers (peppermint, rosemary, fresh thyme, as well as a very subtle hint of sage in the background). We also find the savory hint of sweet spices (licorice, even menthol, white pepper, pink pepper in the background and a hint of nutmeg) as well as a hint of cornflower. The roasting notes (toasted, coffee, dark chocolate) are delicate and enveloped. The palate is juicy, fruity and tangy. It expresses notes of tangy fruits (blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry, a hint of cranberries and bird cherry that bring bitterness, fresh raspberry, redcurrants). In the mid-palate, we feel fresh herbaceous flavors (rosemary, peppermint, thyme, a touch of sage and fresh tobacco), as well as delicate notes of sweet spices (licorice, cumin, nutmeg), toasted almond, coffee and bitter cocoa. The tannins are sapid, fine and firm. Good persistence on a lively acidity and notes of tangy fruits (bigarreau cherry, cranberries)
