Folie de Chauvin 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Folie de Chauvin 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is mineral, racy with freshness and a fine concentration. We have notes of fleshy wild blackberries, small black fruits such as bright blackcurrant, pulpy and fresh boysenberry and more slightly small juicy and fresh blue fruits associated with touches of fresh pepper and a discreet hint of fresh licorice. The palate is fresh, suave, sapid with tension and energy as well as a fine vibrant side. Elegant, we perceive notes of bright pulpy blackberries, blackcurrant and more slightly small crushed red fruits associated with a touch of cornflower, lilac and fine hints of nutmeg in the background. The tannins are distinguished, precise and straight.
