Beautiful spicy and aromatic nose which offers a nice, fine and elegant grain as well as a certain deepness. There are notes of bright raspberry, bright/juicy purple plum associated with touches of balsamic, Zan, fresh oregano as well as fine hints of clove, sense of place (local biotop) and fresh sweet spices. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral and offers juiciness, tension, energy, subtlety, a certain delicacy as well as a fresh and spherical mid-palate. A discreet contained side in its fruit/in its concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small juicy/pulpy red fruits, fresh/bright blackberry and small notes of fresh/crunchy cherry associated with touches of balsamic, flowers, sage/aromatic herbs as well as a subtle hint oregano, star anise, sense of place (local biotop) and discreet almost chocolated hints. Tannins are precise and mellow. A subtle herbaceous/sappy hint in the background, very discreet. Good length. This wine needs to be decanted. Requires time and concentration. Beautiful persistence.
