Evoke 2023 – Saint-Julien

The nose is aromatic and expresses notes of spices and a nice fruit. We also find notes of roasted cherry, blackberry and more slightly – violet associated with touches of cubeb pepper and discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, accuracy, suppleness, roundness and delicacy in its roundness, a spherical side. It expresses notes of pulpy cherry, juicy blackberry and more slightly – violet plum, associated with a mineral touch, as well as a fine hint of cornflower and sweet blond tobacco. Good length, tension and a fine power with a discreet hint of tonka bean. Tasty tannins, good work on the good bitters.
