Marcel Cabelier Esprit 39 – Côtes du Jura AOP

This wine has a golden straw color. It is shiny and clear. The first nose is powerful and aromatic. We perceive notes of yellow fruits such as peach in syrup but we also have touches of currants as well as walnuts and its fresh shell. We also have hints of cocoa and yellow apple. With air, the wine is still aromatic, round, direct, spicy with notes of candied yellow fruits as well as fresh cream. We have fine hints of curry, candied lemon zest and mint. The palate is fresh, round and creamy with notes of crème fraîche, curry but also yellow apple. There is a nice acidity in the mid-palate which continues into a finish with a salivating hint of salt. The finish is long with butter and hazelnuts. After several caudalies, a touch of Mirabelle plum brandy coats the mouth.
