The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is reserved at first, the wine benefits from being aerated. Then, it expresses a delicate concentration of fruits on the nose, juiciness and delicacy, all in finesse. We find notes of ripe red cherry, tangy morello cherry, blueberry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry and wild blackberry, associated with a subtle spicy side (liquorice, vanilla in the background, white pepper, nutmeg), associated with an airy floral fragrance (peony, wild rose), as well as a herbaceous touch of fresh tobacco and fresh tea leaf. The palate offers a gourmet and juicy attack, on notes of very ripe red cherry, morello cherry, wild strawberry, wild blackberry and crushed raspberry. Then, we find floral notes (wild rose, peony, a hint of violet), a herbaceous touch (fresh tobacco, infused tea, wild mint) and spicy (nutmeg, liquorice, a hint of cumin). The tannins are solid, but polished and fine. Good length, tension, energy and a salivating acidity. A very light toasted touch on the persistence.
