The nose is spicy and offers a certain power/intensity of grain as well as finesse. It reveals notes of wild strawberries, bright currants and slight notes of blackberry associated with touches of cornflower, Sichuan pepper as well as hints of lilac, iodine and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco (in the background). The mouth is fresh, mineral, precise, framed and offers energy as well as a nice dynamism. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy currants, bright cherries and more slightly – cornflower combined with touches of fresh/bright berries, liquorice and toast/chocolate. A fine mash in the background.
