Domaine des Sardelles 2022 – Sancerre

The wine has a very pale ruby color (reminiscent of raspberry pink). The nose is juicy, gourmand and expresses bright notes of tangy red fruits. We find aromas of tangy raspberry, crunchy strawberry, fresh red currants, bigarreau cherry, as well as a hint of cranberry juice, associated with notes of peony, rose petals and white pepper in the background. The palate is chiseled, juicy and fresh. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, tangy raspberry, white strawberry and red currants, complemented by a herbaceous hint of blackcurrant leaf, fresh flowers (peony, rose) and white pepper in the background. The tannins are delicate, but perceptible. The finish offers a salivating acidity and a slight bitterness of cranberries.
