Didier Charton-Vachet Cuvée Théophanie Montagny 2022 – Montagny

Didier Charton-Vachet Cuvée Théophanie Montagny 2022 – Montagny

(organic) The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose is delicately toasted and floral: it expresses in particular the aromas of fresh hazelnut, toasted hazelnut in the background, lime blossom, acacia and apple blossom. After aeration, it offers juicy and tangy fruity notes of green apple, yellow lemon zest, lemon juice, grapefruit, apricot and yellow nectarine, combined with a hint of fresh butter, vanilla and brown butter in the background. The palate offers a silky and round attack, with gourmet notes of ripe yellow peach, apricot and honey in the background. In the mid-palate, we find tangy notes of lemon zest, candied lemon peel, grapefruit, acacia and apple blossom, as well as a hint of fresh hazelnut and toasted hazelnut. The finish is persistent and fragrant, with refreshing acidity and savory notes of vanilla, fresh butter and brown butter. Concentration, sapidity and freshness.
