Colpetrone 2021 – Montefalco Rosso

The nose is fruity and offers a certain gourmandise as well as a slight concentration. There are notes of boysenberry, balsamic and small notes of wild small fruits associated with touches of tobacco as well as slight hints of spices and a very discreet hint of olive tree/ black olive. The mouth is beautifuly fresh, mineral, fruity, well-balanced, beautifuly defined and offers a fresh frame, aciduly, gourmandise, precision, tension, roundness as well as an harmonious side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes de sage, pulpy/ juicy small red fruits, bight plum and small notes of rosemary associated with floral touches, a hint of fresh blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint of clove and toast. Good length. Sapid and chewy tannins. Gourmandise.
