The palate is mineral and offers a little freshness, a tangy frame, energy. It expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, tangy/juicy violet plum, and more slightly – tangy blackcurrant, associated with touches of violet, lily as well as a fine hint of badine and toast. The tannins are well-managed, greedy, with a subtle chew on the finish/persistence.
