Château Picaron – Cuvée Zéro 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose reveals some spice, a hint of varietal and a discreetly tight grain. There are notes of red berries, brambles and, to a lesser extent, violets, combined with a fine touch of fresh blackcurrant and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, good definition, fine tension and a hint of varietal and spice at the same time. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp red berries, peony and more lightly bramble/wild red berries combined with a fine touch of juicy raspberry/blackcurrant and a subtle hint of camphor and clove. Good length. Discreetly dry tannins.
