The nose shows brightness, freshness, fine power and fine grain. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, sweet spices and, more slightly, pulpy/flavoured blackberry combined with fine touches of morello cherry, blueberry, liquorice and fine vanilla. The palate demonstrates freshness, minerality, a fresh structure, some volume and linearity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh raspberry, crushed blackcurrant and more lightly fresh blackberry combined with hints of lily, fresh violet as well as hints of liquorice, cardamom, fine hints of sweet blond tobacco and a touch of zan. The tannins are supple.
