Château Fonréaud 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose offers a fine concentration, a finely tight grain, a fine power and a velvety/delicate side at the same time. It expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy/fresh raspberry and small notes of bright redcurrant, associated with fine hints of cornflower and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, energy, a nice definition. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of bright red berries, associated with pretty mineral touches, sweet blond tobacco, star anise and a subtle hint of toasted almond, chocolate and flowers in the background.
