Château du Cray Chardonnay 2022 – Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise

Château du Cray Chardonnay 2022 – Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, perceptible spicy and toasted notes (nutmeg, a touch of coriander and vanilla, toasted wood in the background), as well as a juicy fruitiness (yellow peach, apricot, pomelo, lemon, green apple ), refreshed by a pleasant touch of fresh mint and star anise in the background. We also find delicate and fragrant floral notes (lily, acacia, a hint of chamomile). The palate has a toasted and woody attack, with a hint of vanilla, which is then completed by notes of coriander seeds, by tangy fruity flavors (yellow lemon, lime jam), and notes of fresh stone fruits (crunchy apricot, white peach), green apple, as well as floral notes of chamomile and acacia. The woodiness (fresh wood) persists on the finish. Good persistence, a lively and salivating acidity, softened by a sweet touch of vanilla which appears at the very end of the palate. A wine with a tangy structure, straightness and fruity freshness.
