Château du Courlat 2022 – Lussac Saint-Émilion

Château du Courlat 2022 – Lussac Saint-Émilion

The nose is fruity and mineral, it benefits from being decanted. It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild raspberry and more particularly sweet pepper, combined with fine toasted hints, as well as a hint of tobacco, vanilla and camphor. On the palate, the wine is mineral, fresh, supple, with a slight fatness and a nice roundness. It has a chiseled structure with a graphene and mocha side. We find notes of ripe and fresh wild blackcurrant, small juicy and fresh black berries, subtly accompanied by bright wild raspberry. All combined with touches of camphor, mocha, tobacco, a fine hint of clove and a hint of roasted almond in the background. Tannins are mellow and sapid. A discreet hint of varietal enriches the finish.
