The first nose is intense and fruity, deep, with notes of fresh and compote fruits such as cherry and blackberry. The second nose is still intense with a vanilla roundness and hints of dried garrigue herbs. The palate is fresh and fruity with a beautiful dynamic attack with measured and salivating acidity. The mid-palate reveals powerful tannins, a sign of the wine’s youth. Catchy until the finish, they let notes of cherry, blackberry and juicy plum appear. We always have hints of vanilla. The finish is juicy with a little bit of saffron at the very end of the tasting.
