(Base of harvest – 2028, dosage 4 gr/l, 35% – Pinot Noir, 35% – Chardonnay, 30% – Meunier) The champagne has a pale lemon yellow color and a generous and persistent mousse. The nose offers a beautiful aromatic intensity and a complex profile. It combines delicate, but distinct tertiary notes – flower honey, dried linden blossom, a hint of beeswax and dried apricot in the background. Then, its aromas are complemented by the freshness of citrus fruits (fresh yellow lemon zest, dried zest, a touch of grapefruit and orange peel). We also find notes of white peach and fresh pear, associated with buttery and dried fruit aromas (a hint of fresh butter, fresh hazelnut and toasted hazelnut in the background). The palate offers a beautiful breadth and gourmandise on the attack in the notes of ripe yellow peach, fresh ripe apricot and fresh pear, which continue in a frank and chiseled mid-palate, with a tangy frame of fresh yellow lemon, fresh and dried zest and grapefruit, which also persists in a slightly bitter finish. We also find a delicate hint of toasted almond in the background, fresh hazelnut, honey and beeswax, associated with floral notes of lime blossom and acacia. Beautiful freshness, a salivating acidity and elegant and persistent saline and lemony notes. Good length, freshness and balance.
