Cesarini Sartori – Peperosa 2023 – Umbria IGT

The nose is fruity and delicate and offers a slight power. There are notes of candied raspberry, bright morello cherry and small notes of quinte associated with slight touches of fresh/ ripe small yellow fruits as well as slight hints of rosemary and a hint of violet and english candy. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity/ sapidity, an acidulous frame, precision, tension, freshness, straigtness and a beautiful as well as precise technique. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, pulpy/ juicy raspberry and small notes of kumquat associated with touches of crushed small white fruits as well as a subtle hiny of peach, verbena and mandarin blossom. Good length. Suppleness, roundness and a good definition. Beautiful sapidity, a tannic hint and chew on the finish/ persistence.
