The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandise and freshness with a delicate spiciness and a smoky and meaty touch in the background. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, black plum and red plum, as well as spicy aromas of white pepper, liquorice and cumin, complemented by a woody and toasted touch. We also feel a very subtle hint of violet and mint after aeration. The palate is aromatic and offers freshness of fruit, juiciness, straightness and a good bitterness of the attack. It expresses notes of dried and roasted red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry and black plum, combined with savoury touches of spices (white pepper, liquorice in the background) and toast, as well as a bitterness of coffee and a hint of violet in the background. The tannins have a fine grain and a good structure. Beautiful acidity, moderately persistent in the mouth.
