A pretty bewitching nose, spicy, racy and quite aromatic. It expresses notes of boysenberry, balsamic and, more slightly, – small roasted red fruits associated with touches of pepper, blond tobacco. The palate is mineral and offers fruit, a certain gourmandise, a tangy frame, precision, tension and suavity. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, wild blackcurrant and, more slightly, clove associated with touches of tobacco, volcanic rock, as well as fine hints of star anise and camphor, and a discreet hint toasted hazelnut. The tannins are supple and sapid. A subtle sappy hint in the background.
