The nose is aromatic, precise, beautifuly-built and offers a certain varietal freshness, sense of place (local biotop) and spices. There are notes of crushed strawberry, redcurrant jellyand black cherry jam associated with touches of jellly cassis as well as a slight hint of purple fig as well as a hint of sense of place, violet and a discreet hint of spices. The mouth is beautifuly juicy and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness, a certain small tension, gourmandise as well as an acidulous frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy cherry, dried fig and small notes of dry apricot associated with a touch of fruit paste, a subtle almost roasted/ sweet pineapple hint as well as hints of toasted almond, fresh hazelnut and slight hints of sense of place. Sapid, chewy and gourmand tannins. A subtle hint of dark chocolate and rosemary in the background. Beautifuly defined wine, gourmand, round, rich and beautifuly balanced.
