The nose is elegant, aromatic, delicate, fresh and offers deepness, a goof definition and a saline-racy character. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, acidulous red currants and small notes of fresh small red fruits associated with touches of basil as well as fine varietal hints and discreet saline hints. The mouth is nicely fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a tangy frame, a nice freshness as well as energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cherry, fresh/tangy red berries and small notes of fresh red plum associated with a touch of violet, blackcurrant, typical hints from volcanic rocks as well as a subtle almost fresh saffron hint (in the background) and fresh tobacco. Tannins are fresh and supple. A subtle chewiness on the finish/persistence.
