Ca’ di Sopra “Vigna Ca del Rosso” 2019 – Romagna DOC Sangiovese Marzeno Riserva

The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a certain deepness as well as an aerial side in its small concentration. There are notes of wild strawberry, cornflower and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of small blue fruits, Sichuan pepper as well as hints of local scrubland, sage and a discreet hint almost orange zests (in the background). The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, precision, tension, suppleness, a certain gourmandise, a certain straigtness as well as a tannic side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy raspberry, bright wild berries and small notes of badian associated with touches of balsamic, dark chocolate, oregano as well as a subtle hint of thyme-lemon, iodine and a discreet hint of sage. Good length. Sapid and slightly chewy tannins. Freshness, minerality, focus on the fruit and a certain straigtness.
