Azienda Agraria, Moretti Omero – Vigna Lunga 2019 – Montefalco Sagrantino

Beautiful fruity nose that offers a certain pulpiness, power, a certain intensity and gourmandise. There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy wild small fruits and small notes of pepper associated with touches of dried black cherry as well as hints of liquorice stick, dried flowers and a discreet hint of sense of place (local biotop). The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, tension, power in precision, a certain straigtness, deepness as well as a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, pulpy blackberry and small notes of bright small red fruits associated with touches of dense small fruits, camphor, pulpy/ fresh plum, graphite, toast, torrefaction as well as slight hints of sense of place, black olive and a hint of black tea. Precise, racy and relatively powerful but mastered tannins. Juiciness, freshness and gourmandise. Un good work on the good bitterness on the finish/ persistence.
