Smoky and spicy on the nose with obvious oak influence. The palate is dense, revealing elevated acidity, some tightness of grain, a light bitterness, moderate weight, sticky, bold tannins. The wine is packed with nuances of red cherries, cranberries and wild strawberries complimented by a serious oak support.
