Ad Vitam 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Lovely ripe nose which offers power, brightness, depth, a certain elegance as well as a fine and tense grain. It reveals notes of purple plum, luscious black cherry and slight hints of violet associated with touches of luscious wild strawberries, hints of fresh pepper, fresh tonka bean as well as a subtle almost Mediterranean barrier hint ( local biotop / terroir) and an imperceptible hint of fresh vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, smoothness, an acid structure, a certain greediness, tension, accuracy, a nice finesse in its intensity, a nice acid structure, softness, energy, dynamism as well as a fine vibrant side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, tangy/juicy raspberry and slight notes of luscious/tangy cherry associated with touches of bright berries as well as hints of violet, tonka bean, lily and of almond. The tannins are soft.
