The nose is fragrant and offers a beautiful complexity in its aromatics. It expresses notes of tangy black fruits (morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), red cherry and strawberry, as well as roasted fruits (roasted red cherry, roasted strawberry), sweet spices (liquorice, cardamom, white pepper), aromatic herbs (thyme, dried peppermint), as well as cocoa nibs, toast, coffee, almond and dried flowers. Beautiful mineral and racy frame appears after aeration. The palate is powerful, but refined. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted strawberry, fresh and roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, as well as herbaceous touches (thyme, peppermint), spicy (licorice, cardamom), cocoa nibs, associated with a good bitterness of bitter almond and coffee. The tannins are powerful, but harmoniously enveloped. Good persistence, gourmand and tangy.
