The 2014 Crus Bourgeois du Medoc Cup
A wine contest for Crus Bourgeois
The first edition of the Cup of Crus Bourgeois du Médoc took place in 1985 and was organize annually until 1999. During this period the competition gained rapidly international renown and begin an important wine event the wine professionals. In 2011 with the support of the Magazine Le Point and the wine critic Jacques Dupont the Cup of Crus Bourgeois du Médoc was again organized.
This year this wine contest will take place on May 19 in the corporate buildings on the LAVINIA.FR website (Paris). New this year, the jury will not be composed only with wine professionals (sommeliers, winemakers, journalists, critics wine …), but also two members of the LAVINIA.FR Club (tickets to win on their website).
This jury will be to rank the Crus Bourgeois of Médoc from the Official Selection 2011 (256 wineries) and they should distinguish 12 winners.

From May 21, consumers can discover the list of winners and buy wines directly on LAVINIA.FR
At this time many consumers and wine professionals want the Crus Bourgeois are again classified (Cru Bourgeois, Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, Cru Bourgeois Exceptional) it will be interesting to see the results of this competition over several years (what properties are regularly in the top).
