A fruity, intense, and quite complex wine. It expresses pure and well-defined aromas of fruits. It reveals notes of ripe red fruits (cherry, crushed strawberry) and black berry. The tannins are well-made, well integrated but, of course, need time. A promising wine!

L’Âme de Fontbaude 2009 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

A delicious wine that I took great pleasure to taste. This is a fine wine, fresh, round and with a beautiful aromas. It reveals notes of red fruits (cherry, strawberry), black cherry, cassis and pepper accompanied by floral notes (violet notemment) and grilled. Good acidity leading the tasting. Always a certain freshness in mouth.

Château Fontbaude 2009 – Cuvée Vieilles Vignes – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

A pretty complex nose combining wood and roasting results. The mouth is also proving complex, fleshy, spicy (comparatively the previous Château Fontbaude 2009). It expresses notes of blackberry cream, cherry and red fruist along with some woody notes (you can note the cocoa). A good balance in the mouth.
