Trapl – Blaufränkisch 2021 Prellenkirchen 1ÖTW – Carnuntum

The first nose is really powerful with some pot pourri note. The second nose is quite « funny » with red fruits and undergrowth touch. But still this pot pourri flavour. The mouth is fresh and we do have red fruits like red berry. The alcohol is present and the pot pourri is still there with some herbal notes. The tannins are strong and the acidity in the mid palate is high with a big salivation afterwards washing away the tanning. The finish is a bit salty with light soy sauce, pot pourri and plum.
