La Lecciaia Vigna Manopetra 2020 – Brunello di Montalcino

The nose is fruity, juicy (crushed strawberry, crushed morello cherry, roasted cherry, crushed blueberry, dried cherry, blackcurrant), combined with notes of dried liquorice, cardamom, as well as dried mint, rosemary, dried almond and a hint of roasting (toasted hazelnut). The palate is juicy, sapid and expresses ripe fruits (blackcurrant, crushed strawberry, morello cherry, roasted cherry, crushed blueberry, dried cherry), complemented by the bitterness of bird cherry and cranberries, spicy notes (liquorice, cardamom), chocolate, a hint of tangy cocoa nibs, as well as toasted hazelnut. The tannins are fine and velvety. The finish is sapid, fruity and gourmet.
