The nose is aromatic and first expresses notes of roasted bouquet garni, dried mint, balsamic, as well as flowers (dried rose, lily), sweet spices (nutmeg, cardamom) and gourmet fruits (fresh blackcurrant, dried blackcurrant, morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, redcurrant, strawberry). The palate is silky, enveloping and gourmet. It expresses fruity flavors (morello cherry, fresh blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry, redcurrant, strawberry), complemented by a good bitterness of bird cherry, as well as a savoury spiciness (cardamom, nutmeg), tangy notes of cocoa nibs, as well as a hint of toast. The tannins are solid, but fine and velvety. The finish is juicy, persistent and salivating.
