The nose is fragrant and floral, with light tertiary notes (dried rose, dried cornflower, dried tobacco). There are also aromas of fresh fruit (red cherry, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant), dried fruit (dried blackcurrant, dried morello cherry), blood orange, herbaceous touches (dried rosemary, dried pine needles) and a delicate spicy hint (liquorice, cumin, nutmeg). The palate offers concentration and density. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, dried morello cherry, dried blackcurrant, blood orange, with a good bitterness of coffee and bird cherry, as well as toasted notes. The finish is long, straight and slender, a little closed, with a floral and toasted touch on a tangy persistence. The tannins are finely tight.
