Donatella Cinelli Colombini 2022 – Rosso di Montalcino

The nose is fine, fruity, tangy and fresh. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, cranberries, red currants, raspberry, as well as a fragrant floral bouquet (rose, peony), a touch of roasted herbs, toast, liquorice. The palate is suave, juicy and supple, slightly jammy (a touch of raspberry coulis), but remains crisp and fresh. It expresses notes of cranberries, bigarreau cherry, morello cherry and red currants, a hint of liquorice, toast and fresh flowers (peony). Good tannic structure, solid and firm, but fine and elegant, with a good bitterness.
