Château Haut Bonneau Vieilles Vignes 2022 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a certain concentration, a beautiful freshness and a tangy frame. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, morello cherry, sour red cherry, redcurrant jelly and blueberry, as well as liquorice, morello cherry in chocolate, peppermint, white pepper, and a light toasted and woody touch in the background. The palate is airy, fresh and fruity and chiseled. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and blueberry, associated with a herbaceous hint, which appears in the mouth (dried blackcurrant leaf, mint), with a woody and spicy side wrapped (toasted hazelnut, fresh wood in the background, a hint of liquorice and nutmeg). Good bitterness of bird cherry and a hint of rosemary and toast. Beautiful salivating acidity, Tannins have a balanced, solid structure and a fine texture.
