The first nose is fresh, tangy with notes of red plum as well as morello cherry. The second nose opens with a slight toasted and smoky side. The palate is fresh with a little roundness on the attack. We perceive notes of tart cherry with tannins present until the finish. We also have touches of black pepper, crunchy blackberry and raspberry. The finish is pretty, aromatic and persistent. It is a simple but well-crafted wine.
