The first nose is smoky, woody with also fruity notes. We have the strawberry as well as the juicy black cherry. The second nose opens with still smoky notes and boysenberry. This is a wine that deserves a little aeration. The palate is fresh, fruity with notes of sweet spices. We have a tangy attack which accompanies powerful tannins which soften in the finish. Everything is always tangy with small fruits like redcurrant or boysenberry. The finish has a slight note of vanilla.
