The nose is well developed, frank, fresh and velvety, with an elegant touch of austerity. There are notes of wild blackberry, violet, and more delicately cornflower, combined with touches of infusion and nutmeg. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, with a pulpy side and a certain brightness of the fruit, which benefits from being decanted. We find notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright blackcurrant, and cornflower, all accompanied by touches of nutmeg, infusion, as well as subtle notes of toast and chocolate. Tannins are mellow, and we also perceive a hint of vanilla. Mellowness in this wine and a certain gourmandise.
