The nose is fresh and grassy. There is roundness with notes of tobacco as well as grains. We lightly perceive touches of small red fruits and we have a salinity that emerges on the nose with spices. The palate is powerful, aromatic with a fairly smoky, smoky, peaty attack. We have a nice acidity with notes of grain but also of plum or prune in brandy. We always have a salinity, especially at the end of the mouth. There is also an imperceptible note of soy sauce in the background. It is a whiskey with character which even offers some tannins at the end of tasting. Alcohol is comforting, powerful from the start, in the throat and chest. We end the tasting with a note of salted plum.
