Eric Louis 2022 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fruity, ripe and juicy, even slightly jammy. It expresses aromas of red cherry jam, fresh wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, crushed blackcurrant and blueberry in syrup, as well as an expressive and fragrant floral bouquet (peony, lilac, rose, violet), complemented by a hint of white pepper. The palate is airy, fruity, and offers indulgence, a tangy side of fruit and lightness. It expresses flavors of tart red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant, fresh raspberry and strawberry, as well as blackcurrant bud, white pepper in the background and flowers (violet, lilac, rose). The finish is moderately persistent and tangy, with tight tannins.
