Drei Donà “Notturno” 2021 – Romagna DOC Sangiovese Predappio

The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful maturity, aromatic deepness and a certain concentration. There are notes of boysenberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of roasted-juicy small fruits associated with beautiful floral touches as well as slight hints of sage/ fresh aromatic herbs as well as slight blueberry hints and a discreet saline and toasted hint. The mouth is beautifuly gourmande, pulpy, textured, all in balance, dull of precision and offers a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, roasted-juicy raspberry and small notes of bright small fruits associated with touches of bright blueberry as well as hints of cornflower, badian, toasted, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of bergamot, sage, tonka bean and an imperceptible amost blood orange hint in the background. Sapid and chewy tannins. Beautifuly gourmand and beautiful chewiness on the finish/ persistence. Saline finish in the backgroud.
