Beautiful floral, aromatic nose that offers a certain small complexity and a small power/ intensity. There are notes of blackberry, violet, rosemary and small notes of sage/ lemon-thyme associated with touches of roasted-juicy small fruits, morello cherry as well as slight infusion touches, Zan, a subtle hint of pepper and a very discreet balsamic hint. The mouth is beautifuly juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, tension, precision, a beautiful energy / definition, a vibrant side as well as a well-mastered varietal side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of roasted-juicy cherry, creamy small fruits and small notes of roasted-juicy red berries associated with touches of crushed cassis, sage, lemon-thyme as well as slight hints of flowers/ pistiles, slight varietal hints, bergamot as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and toast. Good length. Tannins are sapid, racy and discreetly sappy. A hint of torrefaction in the background. Elegance. A very discreet balsamic hint. A wine which takes time to reach its full potential.
