Tabarrini – Campo alla Cerqua 2020 – Montefalco Sagrantino

The nose is concentrated, spicy, peppery and offers a certain power. There are notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of badian, Zan and a hint of olive tree leaf. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, suppleness as well as a certain energy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy wild cassis, quite ripe purple plum and small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of dried small red fruits as well as slight hints of balsamic, black olive, spices and black pepper.
